4 years agoOakland Athletics reliever Trevor Rosenthal, who's been dealing with a mild groin strain, threw a successful bullpen session on Sunday and should make his Cactus League debut in two days. Rosenthal has been ramping up since straining his groin last week and should be good to go for Opening Day if he doesn't have any setbacks. The 30-year-old put up stellar numbers in 2020 between the Royals and the Padres when he recorded a 1.90 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and 38:8 K/BB ratio over 23 2/3 innings. He inked a one-year deal with the A's this offseason and is the favorite to close out games for them this season. He's been shaky with walks over his career but when he's on, like he was last season, he can be lights out. He's got a low floor but a very high ceiling in terms of fantasy production.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
