4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Brent Rooker had a great day at the plate on Sunday in a 5-5 tie with the Red Sox. Rooker went 3-for-3, continuing an impressive spring that has seen him collect six hits- one of them a long-ball- and two RBI. The 26-year-old made his debut last season and was impressive in a short stint- though it was cut short by a fractured forearm. Rooker will continue to see at-bats this spring and could fit into the regular season lineup at the corner outfield spots as well as first base, per manager Rocco Baldelli. He's a sleeper in fantasy baseball, as he displayed the ability to produce both superior power and on-base percentage numbers in the minors.--Tim Capurso
