4 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela, who has been dealing with a hamstring strain since March 1, will pitch in a B game against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, according to Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post. He's scheduled to throw three innings and should then pitch in a Cactus League game on Sunday, if all goes well and he doesn't suffer a setback. Manager Bud Black expressed confidence in the 26-year-old right-hander when he stated that Tuesday "will be his first competition against another club. He's ready for that. He's excited and his hamstring feels great. So yeah, 'Senza' is in a good spot." The hamstring strain caused a little delay, but it sounds like Senzatela should be good for Opening Day. His rotation spot is likely secure after coming off a decent 2020 season. He registered a 5-3 record, 3.44 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 41:18 K/BB ratio over 73 1/3 innings. However, he isn't fantasy viable with his career 5.00 ERA and low strikeout rate.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
