4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a triple on Tuesday. Two of his hits collided with the center-field wall and missed being home runs by inches. Guerrero Jr., who just turned 22, is now 9-for-17 (.529) with two doubles, a home run, and a BB-K of 5-2. After losing a significant amount of weight in the offseason, he's well-positioned and motivated for a breakout season. Last year, he produced an average exit velocity of 92.5 mph and a 50% hard-hit rate which led to a 112 wRC+ but he struggled to consistently get the ball into the air with a 55% ground-ball rate. Toronto should have one of the top producing lineups in the American League in 2021.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
