4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a Grapefruit League contest against the Blue Jays on Tuesday. Bohm is now slashing a cool .318/.423/.591 through 26 plate appearances this spring. Bohm is a former first-round pick and was the top prospect in the Phillies farm system. He had success in 44 MLB games last season hitting four homers with a .338 batting average. His average was aided by an unsustainable .410 BABIP, but he also struck out more often than he did in his minor league career. If Bohm can cut back on the K's the sky if the limit for the 24-year-old. This potential is baked into Bohm's draft price, however, as the youngster is going near pick 100 overall. Bohm is a high-risk, high-reward option who should be drafted as a top-12 option at either corner infield slot.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
