4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Brusdar Graterol (undisclosed) has been brought along slowly during Cactus League play in 2021, but he was able to throw a 25-pitch bullpen session Wednesday, his latest step in a return to the mound. There were once injury concerns around Graterol's elbow that scuttled a trade involving Boston and Minnesota, which wound up seeing Graterol land in LA in the Kenta Maeda deal. Having averaged 99.3 mph on his sinker last season, while posting a 0.90 WHIP and elite 2.9% barrel rate, Graterol figures to be a key cog in the Dodgers' bullpen once he's cleared for action. Those in deeper season-long formats that count holds or WHIP will want to check back in the coming weeks to see if Graterol gets the green light to begin the season on time.--Jesse Borek
