4 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Mets. Batting from the right side, Bell went the opposite way for this third homer of the spring- and his second to the opposite field. The switch-hitting first baseman now has nine hits in 11 spring games- six of them for extra bases. Bell had a down year in 2020, posting just a .669 OPS, largely due to career-worst numbers in strikeout, walk, and fly-ball rate. It is only spring training, but Bell looks very similar to the guy who produced 37 homers, 116 RBI, 94 runs, and 74 walks in his All-Star 2019 season for the Pirates. He can be drafted at a 139 ADP.--Tim Capurso
