4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Corbin Burnes had another solid outing in his third Cactus League start on Thursday against the Angels. Burnes tossed 3 2/3 innings allowing two hits, one unearned run, and a walk while striking out four. The 26-year-old now owns an 11-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio this spring through 6 2/3 innings. Burnes was masterful in 2020, striking out a career-high 13.3 batters per nine innings while posting a 1.02 WHIP and a minuscule 0.3 home runs per nine innings. He can be expected to generate tons of strikeouts once again thanks to a bevy of pitches in his arsenal, though he'll need to improve on last year's 10.0 percent walk rate to live up to his 62 ADP.--Tim Capurso
