4 years agoRyan Newman starts from the 28th position which should make him advantageous from a place differential standpoint. However, the last two speedway races in Vegas and Phoenix have seen Newman tumble backwards on the track (-5 and -7 respectively). More troubling is that in those races, the Roush Fenway Racing driver had been mired in the 30's at points at Vegas and Phoenix. The expectation is Newman will struggle considering he has had a negative place differential five of the past seven times.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
