4 years agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Ryan McDonagh left Sunday's 5-3 victory over Florida with a lower-body injury. The veteran blueliner logged only nine shifts before being ruled out for the rest of the contest. McDonagh doesn't offer much offensively anymore, but he's averaged over two blocks per game and has delivered 41 in 31 appearances while logging nearly 22 minutes a night. Head coach Jon Cooper didn't have an update on McDonagh's injury after the game. The Bolts return to the ice on Tuesday against Dallas.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
