4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola fired six innings of shutout baseball on Monday against the Yankees. Before the game, Nola was named the team's Opening Day starter; it will be the fourth consecutive Opening Day start for the Phillies' ace. Nola was in midseason form in this game allowing just one hit and one hit-batsman while racking up nine strikeouts versus a fully-loaded Yankees lineup. The 27-year-old righty will have a tough matchup against the Braves to start the season, but he's a must-start ace for fantasy as evidenced by the way he sliced through New York in this game.
