4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler has found his power stroke this spring. Soler is batting just .233 in 16 games, though seven of his 10 hits have gone for extra bases, including four long-balls. He does have an alarming 15 strikeouts to just three walks, though the return of his power is a great sign for the 29-year-old, as his .443 slugging percentage last year was dramatically lower than the .569 mark he put up in 2019. Soler still ranked in the 90th percentile or better in barrel rate, exit velocity, and hard-hit rate- suggesting that he can still be a great source of power in the fantasy landscape. Fantasy managers should expect a rebound year from the slugger, whose 146 ADP might be a slight undervalue of his services.--Tim Capurso
