J.T. Realmuto Homers In First At Bat Of Spring
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto (thumb) homered in his first at-bat of Grapefruit League play on Tuesday. That was a nice way to return from a thumb injury he sustained early in camp. Realmuto was always expected to be back for Opening Day, but it's nice to see him get some game action before they count. The consensus top-catcher in baseball, Realmuto posted a slugging percentage over .490 in each of his first two seasons in Philadelphia, better than any other catcher in that time. With an average draft position in the top-40 picks, he's is a little risky compared to other players available, but Realmuto could be worth it compared to the rest of the catching landscape in fantasy.
