4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Mickey Moniak was optioned to minor league camp on Tuesday, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic. Moniak had been competing with Scott Kingery, Odubel Herrera, and Roman Quinn for the center field job. Moniak hadn't played above Double-A prior to last season so he was never likely to win the job, but Moniak played well and the prospect should be on the radar of fantasy managers. In 2019 with Double-A, Moniak had 11 homers and 15 steals and had 130 runs-plus-RBI in 119 games played. He should be rostered in dynasty leagues and is a name to know in redraft as he should be with the Big League club later this season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
