Fernando Tatis Jr. Dealing With Left Shoulder Discomfort
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., who exited Tuesday's Cactus League game early, is dealing with left shoulder discomfort according to the team. He reached for a grounder in the hole in the bottom of the third inning and walked off the field after recording the out. "He's fine,"said one person close to the shortstop after he was examined once he left the game. "There appeared to be sighs of relief coming from all parties around Tatis," according to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Those same sighs of relief can be heard all throughout the fantasy baseball community as well. For now, the superstar shortstop appears to be fine but the Padres will play this very cautiously and likely shut him down for a few days. He'll be re-evaluated periodically and the team should provide an update on him tomorrow.
