4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Michael Pineda struggled in Wednesday's loss to the Rays. Pineda pitched five innings, allowing nine hits and five earned run while striking out four batters. The 32-year-old certainly didn't have his best stuff, though he was encouragingly able to work through five frames, continuing his Grapefruit League build-up. Pineda has flashed his strikeout ability this spring- and he could be worth a late-round flier for fantasy managers in need of wins and strikeouts to round out their fantasy staffs. He currently has an ADP of 219.--Tim Capurso
