4 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews scored in overtime to lead his side to a 4-3 victory over Edmonton on Saturday. The Leafs were down 3-1 with eight minutes to go in regulation, but goals from John Tavares and William Nylander delivered a point and Matthews made it two with his 22nd marker of the season. He also had an assist in the contest on a Pierre Engvall goal. The goals have dried up for Matthews since the end of last month, but he took over the top spot on the league's goals list again. He's added 17 assists to his line with 128 shots in 31 games. A rematch with Edmonton awaits the Leafs on Monday as they start a four-game week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
