4 years agoRyan Newman qualified 14th at Bristol on Sunday but it was that 11th place finish in practice number one that drew some notice. Then there was the 22nd place result in Friday's practice session. One key thing is the momentum carried from last week in Atlanta. Newman was able to stay on the lead lap. He only finished 13th but that was a +15 in place differential. The Roush Fenway Racing driver could inch up a few spots as he has finished in the top-ten in 50% of his career races at Bristol.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
