Jake Fraley Continues To Contribute
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley got off to a dismal start this spring, beginning his Cactus League season on an 0-for-15 skid. He has picked it up of late, and continued his improved play on Saturday, going 1-for-1 with a walk, a stolen base, and two runs scored. The steal was his fourth of the spring. Fraley has long since been surpassed by Taylor Trammell on the depth chart, but with the news of Kyle Lewis' injury and questionable status for opening day, there could be room for Jake Fraley to start the year in left field for the Mariners. In the deepest of leagues, Fraley could hold short-term value for fantasy managers with his speed and all-around game.
