Trevor Williams Will Break Camp As Part Of Cubs Rotation
4 years agoStarting pitcher Trevor Williams will slot in as the Chicago Cubs number four starter for the upcoming 2021 season. Williams signed as a free agent from the Pittsburgh Pirates this past offseason and has performed well with his new club this spring. Williams is 2-0 with a 1.32 ERA and 12 strikeouts with just one walk this spring. The right-hander had a rough 2020 campaign with a 2-8 record to go along with a 6.18 ERA in 11 starts, but will hope his strong spring with carry over to a successful first season with his new club. Williams doesn't offer anything more than streamer appeal at the moment.
