4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel went five innings in his final tune up before the start of the regular season. Keuchel allowed five hits, two runs, no walks and struck out four versus the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. The veteran lefty is likely to open the season as the White Sox number two starter behind Lucas Giolito, but manager Tony La Russa has been shy about naming his rotation. The lefty was great in his debut season with the White Sox last year and was 6-2 with a 1.99 ERA in 11 starts. The veteran is a solid contributor to all rotations, but managers must make sure that they have enough strikeouts to cover for the veteran who has a career 7.1 K/9.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
