4 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom has seen his third straight opening day start hit a speed bump. Thursday's game between the Mets and the Washington Nationals has been postponed due to at least one positive COVID-19 case on the Washington side. The club also had another player test positive although they're awaiting follow-up testing. Several players have quarantined due to possible exposure. The game will not be made up during the off-day on Friday and future scheduling will be announced at a later time.
