4 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin will take on the lowly Sabres on Thursday, trying to improve an 8-8-1 record. The Russian netminder had a rocky ride earlier in the season, but he won four of his five appearances in March with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage. He's allowing 2.32 goals per game for the whole season with a .925 save percentage. These are some really solid numbers and a playoff-chasing team really shouldn't lose to a team like Buffalo, so Shesterkin should finish with the W on Thursday.
