Taylor Trammell Delivers In His Major League Debut
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell made his big league debut on opening day Thursday, and contributed significantly to the comeback win against the San Francisco Giants. Trammell went 0-for-3 at the plate, but drew two big walks while driving in a run and scoring another. One of those walks was an eight pitch battle with the bases loaded in the eighth inning, bringing in the first of six runs in the inning. Trammell also added an outfield assist. Overall, Trammell's speed and on-base skills give him the opportunity to contribute for fantasy managers even on days when he doesn't make a large impact with his bat. Given what he's meant to the Mariners already, his playing time, and potential fantasy contributions, look to be on the rise.
