4 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Robbie Ray (bruised elbow) is on track to return in the near future. The veteran left-hander is throwing with "100% aggression," according to general manager Ross Atkins. Ray was having an outstanding spring when he fell at his home and bruised his elbow. He'll be allowed to return when he's built up the ability to throw 80 pitches in an outing. He posted a 1.98 ERA in four spring starts and produced a K-BB of 18-5 in 13.2 innings. Ross Stripling is expected to fill in for Ray in the starting rotation until the former Diamondbacks hurler returns.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
