Kris Bryant Hits First Home Run Of 2021
4 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a solo home run in Saturday's victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was Bryant's first dinger of the season. The former National League MVP is coming off of a tough 2020 campaign and enters this season with high expectations with his contract ending after this season. Bryant has dealt with a flurry of injuries over the past couple of seasons, but looked healthy this spring and is off to a nice start so far. Bryant slipped in a lot of drafts this season and those who drafted him could be rewarded in a big way if he returns to his old ways. Bryant will look to keep it going versus Mitch Keller and the Pirates on Sunday.
