4 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Taylor Rogers looked impressive in his second outing of the season on Saturday. Rogers worked the seventh inning again, pitching a scoreless inning while striking out the side. The 30-year-old has now tossed two scoreless frames to start the 2021 season, though he notably has yet to take the mound in the ninth inning, wth those honors going to newcomer Alex Colome. While it might be discouraging to see Rogers bumped down to the seventh inning, the save chances should come down the road for the southpaw, especially if he continues to pitch like he has so far.--Tim Capurso
