4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward will rest on Monday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. With left-hander Brett Anderson on the hill, it makes sense to give the veteran outfielder a day off. Heyward is 2-for-11 on the season with a home run, but most of his value comes on defense and managers can feel safe leaving Heyward on the waiver wire. Utility man Matt Duffy will replace Heyward in the lineup and bat eighth with Kris Bryant shifting from third base to right field.
