4 years agoMinnesota Twins utility Luis Arraez (illness) is dealing with a stomach illness. Arraez was removed from Monday's game earlier for reasons that were unclear at the time, though it turns out that the 23-year-old is dealing with a gastrointestinal issue, which clearly caused him discomfort during his last at-bat. The Twins said that it's a non-COVID-related illness, not the same one that forced Byron Buxton out of Sunday's game. Arraez may have to sit out Tuesday's game, though he's fortunately not injured and shouldn't have to miss any more time beyond that. It's good news for fantasy managers, as Arraez has been excellent as the team's leadoff hitter, as he's now reached base in eight straight plate appearances.--Tim Capurso
