4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton will rest on Monday versus the Seattle Mariners. With left-hander Justus Sheffield on the mound, the opportunity came give Eaton a day off. Eaton has hit second in three of the White Sox four games this season and could have sneaky value for managers seeking runs if he remains in that spot. The veteran is hitting .250 with four runs, one home run and three RBI this season and isn't a bad option in deeper leagues as part of a strong lineup. Eaton will be replaced by outfielder Billy Hamilton on Monday. Hamilton will bat ninth and doesn't much value outside of stolen bases in all formats.
