4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (illness) is not in Tuesday's lineup for the second game of the series against the Tigers. Buxton continues to deal with a non-COVID-related illness, one that forced him out of Sunday's game early and sidelined him for Monday's contest- though manager Rocco Baldelli said that the 27-year-old was feeling better this morning. Baldelli also noted that Buxton could appear in Tuesday's game. It sounds like he's close to a return- so fantasy managers should expect him back in the lineup for the series finale against Detroit on Wednesday. Buxton is 3-for-8 with two home runs, a double, and a stolen base so far this season.--Tim Capurso
