4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco saw his early season woes continue on Monday, as he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the loss to the Reds. Through four games now this season, Polanco is just 1-for-14 with three walks, six strikeouts and a run scored. It's been a hard drop off for Polanco in production, as he's gone from hitting .254 with 23 homers, 12 steals and an .839 OPS in 2018 to a .153 average and .539 OPS in 2020. Managers can hope that Polanco can somehow recapture the value that he once had, but don't hold your breath on it.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
