The team initially called the injury right shoulder inflammation, though a clearer picture of his status should be available Wednesday following Rosenthal's evaluation on Tuesday. Sergio Romo and Jake Diekman are the best candidates for saves in the Oakland bullpen for as long as the 30-year-old is out.
