4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier will get the day off on Wednesday, as Kevin Newman will slide over from shortstop and start at second against the Reds. After slashing .488/.511/.860 in 14 games this spring, Frazier has scuffled out the gates hitting 3-for-18 to open the year. Despite the slow start, Frazier has a double, a triple and a stolen base in five games, and he has drawn four walks to just two strikeouts. Things should start clicking soon for Frazier, who is a solid middle-infield option in deep-mixed or NL-only formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
