Ben Bowden Takes The Loss On Tuesday For Colorado
4 years agoColorado Rockies left-handed pitcher Ben Bowden took the loss on Tuesday when he allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits over one inning pitched in the 10-8 extra-innings loss to the Diamondbacks. Bowden entered a 7-7 ball game in the top of the 13th inning and got two quick outs before running into trouble. He gave up back-to-back singles to Stephen Vogt and Matt Peacock, the latter deflected off Trevor Story's glove before Ketel Marte smoked a two-run double. The Rockies would fail to retake the lead in the bottom of the frame, so Bowden was saddled with the loss. He's now allowed five runs (four earned) through 2 1/3 innings of relief this season. He's not on the fantasy radar whatsoever.
