4 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada will rest on Wednesday versus the Seattle Mariners. Moncada has been off to a slow start in 2021 and is just 4-for-22 with 12 strikeouts on the season. Plate discipline has always been a weakness for the former top prospect and hopefully Wednesday's day off will help him get back on track. Infielder Jake Lamb will replace Moncada on Wednesday and bat second. Lamb is nothing more than a dart throw in DFS and will face off against Justin Dunn. Moncada should be expected back in the lineup on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
