Billy Hamilton Exits Early
4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Billy Hamilton (hamstring) exited Wednesday's contest versus the Seattle Mariners early due to injury. After stealing third base in the top of the fifth inning, Hamilton was seen grabbing his hamstring. Hamilton initially stayed in the game but was replaced in the bottom of the fifth inning. Hamilton finished the game 0-for-1 with a walk and should be considered day-to-day for now. Outfielder Andrew Vaughn has replaced Hamilton in left field. It's not good for a 30-year-old that makes his living with his legs, and it's unknown how long he might be out. Hamilton can run a little, but he won't help fantasy managers with his bat.
