4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham (hamstring) is due to be back with the team on Friday, according to MLB.com's AJ Cassavell. Grisham has been out since March 11 with a left hamstring strain. Managers are eagerly awaiting Grisham's return, and they hope to see him build off a 2020 campaign in which he hit 10 home runs and stole 10 bases while batting .251 with an .808 OPS in 59 games. Tommy Pham has been playing center field and shift to left when Grisham returns, meaning that Jurickson Profar could see fewer playing time in the near future.
