4 years agoLos Angeles Kings center Gabriel Vilardi will sit as a healthy scratch Wednesday night when the team hosts Arizona. The 21-year-old is among the Kings' top prospects, but he's struggled in his first full season in the league, getting only 15 points in 37 games. Vilardi has been filling a top-six role, but his minutes have been on a steady decline in recent weeks, so you can't say that this wasn't coming. Brendan Lemieux, who was acquired from the Rangers a couple of weeks back, will make his team debut.
