4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta picked up his second victory of the season on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Arrieta went six innings and allowed seven hits, two runs, three walks and struck out four on the afternoon. The walks weren't ideal, but Arrieta has looked good in his return to the Cubs. Managers should consider that both those starts have come against a weak Pirates lineup, but the results have been nice nonetheless. Arrieta is unlikely to rack up many strikeouts, but managers in deeper leagues could do worse than taking a look at the veteran. Next up for Arrieta will be a matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
