Anthony Rizzo Breaks Out Of Slump With First Home Run
4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rizzo entered the game 2-for-19 and hopefully Thursday's nice performance will get the veteran going. Despite the slow start, Rizzo remains one of the more consistent first baseman in the game. Rizzo has dealt with back issues over the past few seasons, but can help with power and batting average if he stays healthy. Rizzo will look to keep it going versus the Pirates on Saturday.
