4 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson (knee) is back in the lineup on Thursday night, where he will slot in as the designated hitter and bat second against the Astros. Olson had been day-to-day with a left knee contusion after injuring himself while sliding for a pop up in foul territory. He has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, hitting .235 with a .675 OPS through his first five games, but he looked good in Spring Training where he slugged six homers in 18 games.
