4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios earned his second win of the season in Thursday's 10-2 defeat of the Mariners. Berrios pitched 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out eight batters with three walks. The 26-year-old right-hander had an easy first but got himself into and out of trouble in the third and the sixth innings, minimizing the damage. Berrios' strikeout stuff has been as advertised through two starts- as he owns an impressive 20:3 strikeout-to-walk ratio to start the season. He'll look to keep missing bats in his next start on April 14 against Boston.--Tim Capurso
