4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. produced his second multi-hit game in a row on Thursday night as the club fell 7-5 in extra innings to the Los Angeles Angels. He also scorched his second home run of the season. Through seven games, Guerrero Jr. is now hitting .348 with an OPS of 1.135. With Marcus Semien, Cavan Biggio, and Teoscar Hernandez all hitting around .200 or less, now might be the time for manager Charlie Montoyo to consider moving Guerrero Jr. up out of the fifth hole in the lineup and up higher in the pecking order. Last season, the 22-year-old infielder produced a 112 wRC+ in what was considered a disappointing season. So far in the early going in 2021, he's sitting at a 209 wRC+.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
