Jose Marmolejos Hits First Homer
4 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman and outfielder Jose Marmolejos homered for the first time this year on Thursday, sending a Jose Berrios curveball over the right-center field wall. The ball left the bat at 106.6 MPH, and traveled 424 feet. Marmolejos was in the lineup at first base for the nicked up Evan White. With the injuries to Kyle Lewis, Evan White, and Jake Fraley, Marmolejos is in line for some increased playing time over the next few weeks. He could be a useful fantasy bat against right-handed pitchers for those in daily leagues.
