4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea allowed one run across six innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Friday. Manaea didn't have his best control as he allowed three walks, but he limited the damage by allowing just two hits and racking up four K's. The 29-year-old righty shouldn't be a priority for managers to add in fantasy as a 19.6 percent career strikeout rate limits his upside. He still has value as a streamer, however, and can be deployed in his next start versus a Tigers lineup that had the highest strikeout rate versus right-handed pitching last season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
