4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has been added to the COVID-19 injured list while recovering from side effects from the vaccine. He left Friday night's game in the third inning due to nausea. Young outfielder Josh Palacios was recalled last night to help cover in the outfield with George Springer (quad) and Teoscar Hernandez (COVID-19 exposure) also unavailable. Palacios will be in the lineup Saturday night for his second straight start after going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts last night. Gurriel Jr. is hitting just .192 through seven games.
