4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Trevor Rogers earned the quality start and the win on Saturday, as he struck out 10 batters over six scoreless innings in a 3-0 victory over the Mets. Rogers allowed just three hits and two walks, and at one point retired 11 batters in a row. With Saturday's performance, Rogers now has a 1.80 ERA with 16 strikeouts and six walks over 10 innings of work this season. Coming off a strong spring in which he posted a 2.84 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 19 innings, Rogers looks like he's ready to have a breakout year in 2021.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
