Trent Grisham Sparks Comeback Victory
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham went 2-for-4 with a homer, walk and two RBI in Saturday's victory over the Texas Rangers. Grisham's first long ball of 2021 was a two-run shot off reliever Wes Benjamin in the seventh inning to cement the Friars 7-4 comeback victory. The 24-year-old has provided an offensive jolt to the Padres since his activation from the IL on Friday and he's off to a 4-for-8 start with two extra-base hits. Grisham will continue batting leadoff until shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) returns, but should maintain a cushy position in the lineup regardless. He's already paying early dividends to fantasy managers that trusted him as an OF2 this draft season.
