Josh Palacios Has Four Hits In Second MLB Game
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Josh Palacios had a night to remember during Saturday's 15-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Playing in just his second MLB game, the 25-year-old was on base five times. He went 4-for-4 with a walk and scored four runs from the ninth hole. Palacios had an impressive 2020 at the club's alternate training site and followed that up with a strong spring training. He's on the active roster with all three starting outfielders unavailable: George Springer (quad), Teoscar Hernandez (COVID-19 exposure), and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (vaccine side effects). When Palacios last played in the minors, the former fourth-round draft pick produced a 134 wRC+ in Double-A.
